Tips for a Great Durango Cigars Experience
You've ordered your first shipment of Durango Cigars. They've arrived at your door, and now you're ready to light one up.
That's great! But before you do, let us give you a couple of tips to ensure you get the best Durango Cigars experience possible.
Keep Them Fresh, And Separated From Other Cigars
Durango Cigars are truly original smokes. These sticks have been aged with nothing other than their one of a kind blends. This is important to note as tobacco is porous so it takes on dominant flavor profiles. Therefore, please leave your cigars in the humidor fresh bags we've provided. If kept sealed in the bags with Boveda 2-Way Humidity Control Packs, these won't cross-contaminate with other cigars and they will stay fresh for up to a year!
A Great Toast Ensures A Great Burn, Every Time...
Second, our cigars have a small amount of pipe tobacco leaf mixed in with long filler cigar leaf. When lighting your Durangos please toast the foot of the cigar to ensure an even burn.
To toast the cigar simply hold it at a 45-degree angle and hold the flame an inch from the base of your cigar. Toast all of the edges by rotating the cigar in a circular motion. Once the foot is completely charred, finish lighting by drawing in air through the top of the cigar while continuing to hold the match a 1/2" from the foot.
A fully lit Durango ensures a consistent even burn every time.
That's it, now get on with it, and let us know what you think.
